‘Our Unexpected Adventures’…. Part 3

On Saturday morning after breakfast, we were back on the road on our adventure. The scenery was amazing as we traveled through Pennsylvania. The mountains were awesome, and I saw lots of Eagles, Hawks and other birds. Unfortunately, a lot of deer and raccoons and many other wild animals did not make the journey across the highway. Although the road was like a rollercoaster it was beautiful too. The trees and forests were amazing, and I even saw my beloved cows! Early in the morning we saw the fog over the mountains and forests! It looked like a beautiful blanket covering the land.

We arrived at our destination, Super 8 Wyndham/Alexandria VA at 10:45am and waited until 11:45am to get checked in. They had no rooms ready, and we were fortunate because other people had to wait until 3pm to get a room! The services listed on the website were not the services provided by any means!!!No room service. No Continental breakfasts. The internet connection was lousy. You even had to take your used towels to the front desk every day to receive new ones. But despite the bad service the people were pleasant. After a little rest we went to KFC to get something to eat and noticed the check engine light had come on again. I called Landmark Honda and they said they closed at 5pm but they could check it out Monday.
