“FAITH-TRUST-PEACE”

Then He got into the boat and his disciples followed Him. Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But JESUS was sleeping. The disciples went and woke Him, saying, “LORD save us! We’re going to drown!”

He replied, “You of little FAITH, why are you so afraid?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was COMPLETELY CALM. The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!”

Mathew 8:23-27

Meditation:

During life we face uncontrolled, and unexpected events; a lot of “storms”: challenges, disasters chaos, diseases, accidents, violence, racism, terrorist attacks…

Those events are out of our control…

When people are facing the “storms”, Attacks or life’s threates it causes Fear, Stress, and worries,  triggering the human nature to react; “Fly” or “Fight” … People could have a Panic Attack or  an Anxiety Attack or just become extremely Afraid …

Imagine the scene on the boat, the disciples panicked because the strong “storm”, winds, water, threatened their lives… while JESUS had peaceful Slept! So, they screamed “LORD save us!!!”

JESUS woke up and got up and told them:

“You of little FAITH, why are you so afraid?” And rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was COMPLETELY CALM!”

What about our FAITH? Are you afraid?

IF our FAITH, and TRUST in JESUS is STRONG we can “navigate” through, the MIDDLE of “Life’s STORMS” with PEACE, and be CALM, because we BELIEVE that JESUS is in TOTAL CONTROL of the “STORMS”. He is with us, to protect, guide, comfort, strengthen,  and calm us!

With JESUS we can be CALM and at PEACE, in the Middle of storm! 

Prayer:

Father in Heaven! Thank you for sending JESUS who gave us Salvation, Eternal Spiritual Life, and PEACE!

Help us with your HOLY SPIRIT to continue to rely on our FAITH, and TRUST in you! You are all POWERFUL! Take COMPLETE CONTROL of the “Storms” and CALM them indeed!

Also every day continue leading, strengthing, encouraging, empowering, and refreshing our soul, mind and body to serve you and share joyfully the GOSPEL of JESUS to the entire planet! All Honor, Glory, and Praise  is yours. In Jesus’ name we Pray, Amen!
