“Victorious Eternal Life”

..for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God. 1 John 5:4-5

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written:

“For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Romans 8:35-39

Meditation:

As Christians, we are the ones who can be called born of God. We are children of God meaning that we have been begotten by him: we are born of him. This means that we have overcome the world!

Victory is certain for us-in life and in death. No work of the enemy can ever prevail over our lives and we can have confidence about this because we know that we are born of God. We rejoice because we know that we are children of God.

We are more than conquerors in the name of Jesus, as a result of being your children. No weapon of this world fashioned against us will ever prosper!

Prayer:

Thank you Heavenly Father for your everlasting love and care. Thank you for being with us always! Help us to remember; every day we are experiencing a victorious everlasting life! In Jesus name we pray. Amen!
