“Rejoice in the Lord”

“I Rejoiced greatly in the LORD that at last you renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. I am not saying this because I am in need, and I know what is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through HIM Who gives me strength.”
Philippians 4:10-13.
Meditation:
Life is an Aventure, like ride in a roller-coaster, ups, downs, and curves. However, one of the most important things we should learn, as followers of Jesus Christ, is to be content...
We will face periods in our lives where we will have plenty and we will face times of lack. Neither situation reflect on God’s character.
God’s character is revealed in our endurance and our contentment because of our TRUST in Him. Don’t be moved by your situations. Be content in God. He has all your needs covered.
I can do all things through Jesus Christ which strengthened me. Philippines 4:13
I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: everywhere and in all things, I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
When we TRUST completely in God, lift our souls and fix our eyes on JESUS we experience contentment in all circumstances...
Like Apostol Paul wrote:
Rejoicing in the LORD and trusting in Him is the secret of living in contentment even in tough times!
TRUST that:
Since we know of the great victory we have in Jesus Christ, and the glorious future that is ahead of us, we are to remain encouraged and fixed in the things of God.When we serve God, we are to do so whole heartedly because our work is not just for ourselves, it is to bring glory to God’s name.
Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
1 Corinithians 15:58
Prayer:
Our Father in heaven thank you for helping, encouraging and empowering us to doing your will, spreading joyfully the Gospel to all nations! We're Rejoicing in You! We're Living in contentment TRUSTING in you every day!
Continue developing our character and using us for your Glory! We're Fixing our eyes on YOU in all circumstances!
