And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:28
But those who HOPE in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; They will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
Isaiah 40:31
Meditation.
Life brings seasons that shake us—loss, uncertainty, unanswered questions, and moments when the future feels painfully unclear. Yet in the middle of it all, Scripture gives us two powerful anchors: Romans 8:28 and Isaiah 40:31.
Living With Faith in the God Who Works All Things for Good.
God Is Working Even When You Can’t See It
Romans 8:28 declares:
“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him.”
This isn’t a promise that everything is good. It’s a promise that God is actively weaving good from everything.
When life feels chaotic, this verse reminds you that God is not improvising. He is intentional. He is present. He is working behind the scenes in ways you cannot yet understand.
To live this out:
Trust God’s Timing — His plan unfolds at the right pace, even when it feels slow or confusing.
Surrender the Unknowns — Release the need to control outcomes and invite God into the uncertainty.
Look for God’s Fingerprints — Notice small mercies, unexpected encouragement, or quiet moments of peace. These are reminders that He is near.
Renewed Strength for the Journey
Isaiah 40:31 promises that:
“Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles.”
This is not human strength—it’s divine strength. Strength that lifts you when you’re weary. Strength that carries you when you feel like you can’t take another step.
Living in this promise means:
Placing Your Hope in God — Not in circumstances, not in people, not in outcomes.
Resting Instead of Striving — Renewal comes when you stop trying to carry everything alone.
Walking One Step at a Time — God strengthens you for today, not for every future moment at once.
Prayer.
Heavenly Father, in moments when life feels heavy and uncertain, I turn to You. Grant me wisdom to see with clarity, to discern Your will, and to walk in Your truth. Strengthen my heart according to Your promise in Isaiah 40:31. Renew my spirit so I may rise above fear, grief, and confusion. Teach me to trust that You are working all things together for good, just as You declared in Romans 8:28. Lead me, guide me, Comfort and steady me with Your unfailing love. In Jesus' name Amen.
Jose Reyes.
