“Greatest Commandment”

Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and will all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:37-39 (NIV)

What does it mean, Loving God with all, your heart, mind and soul?

Loving God is to put God in first place in your life.

Loving God is to develop a better relationship with Him; begin every morning with thanksgiving, spend time with Him; read and meditate the Bible, before any other activity…!

Loving God is beginning every day having a conversation with Him, praying, expressing everything, feelings, thoughts … etc. to Him, as you would your best Friend!

Loving God is doing everything for His Glory! In the name of Jesus…!

Loving God is asking Him for Help when you feel confused, tired, worried, afraid, depressed, despaired, or even broken! Asking for Wisdom, new strength, hope, peace, comfort or whatever your need is…!

Loving God is rejoicing in all circumstances regardless of the outcome…!

What does it mean to love your neighbor as yourself?

In other words, love others as God loves you. He loved you so much he gave his only Son Jesus, as a sacrifice for your sins so that you would have eternal life with Him!

First love God with your whole heart, mind, and soul, and Second love your neighbor like yourself.

God is the fountain of Love, stay connected with Him, and receive his Love and Amazing Grace; continue in the process of transformation by the power of God’s Love. Obey, forgive, serve and love each other even your enemies.

Smile, God loves you and there is nothing you can do about it. He loves you even when you don’t love yourself. He never stops loving you no matter your circumstances.

Prayer:

Father in Heaven; Thank you for loving me and forgiving me for my sins. Help me to obey you, in my daily life. In the name of your son, Jesus, I pray your will be done. Amen
